Man City star Kyle Walker so fast ‘he’s broken the speed limit in residential areas’, jokes Joe Cole during West Ham clash
KYLE WALKER’S rapid run down the line to set up Manchester City’s opener on Saturday “broke the speed limit” – pundit Joe Cole has joked.
Racing down the flank and clocking in at a whopping 22mph, the right-back continued his strong start to the season.
After rushing back to make a stunning goalline clearance in the last minute of the Community Shield, Walker notched a first assist of the year at London Stadium.
“Kyle Walker’s broken the speed limit in residential areas,” Cole joked on BT sport after the goal.
The willing recipient of the Englishman’s run was Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian smashed home City’s first Premier League goal of the season after Walker’s ball in took a slight touch off Issa Diop.
Fans loved former winger Cole’s line during Saturday’s game.
