Tottenham Hotspur may have already enjoyed their own deadline day, bringing in the likes of Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso, but others still await their chance.
The transfer window is still open for clubs in France, Spain, Italy, and Germany, and it will remain open until the second of September.
This means that Spurs players could still potentially be sold over the next three weeks or so, despite the fact that Tottenham would not be able to bring anyone else in.
One player who has made it clear that his plans lie elsewhere is Christian Eriksen, who told the press that he wanted a change and a step up from Tottenham (Ekstra Bladet).
However, the Standard now report that a move to Spain has been ‘blocked’ for the Danish international, as Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid both have other plans.
Real are said to prefer Paul Pogba or Donny Van de Beek, while Atletico are looking at James Rodriguez.
