Tottenham Hotspur had a bid accepted for Juventus star, Paulo Dybala, yesterday, with the fee said to be £64.4m (Sky Sports).
This would be a new club record fee, if the deal goes ahead, overtaking Tanguy Ndombele who signed earlier this summer.
However, despite agreeing the transfer fee, Spurs are in a race against time to get the personal terms over the line before the deadline tomorrow.
All incoming Premier League deals must be completed by 5 pm on Thursday to be valid, so Tottenham now have well under 24 hours to get this done.
