McDonald’s is bringing back Mars and Twix McFlurries next week
FANS of McDonald’s iconic McFlurry will be pleased to know the fast food giant is bringing back two widely missed flavours.
All of the permanent flavours will be joined by Twix and Mars variations of the sweet treats and will be available in the United Kingdom and Ireland as of August 7.
Every McDonald’s fan knows and trip to the fast food chain isn’t complete without a McFlurry – and now there are even more flavours to choose from.
To create the treat, McDonald’s combines its soft dairy ice cream with pieces of Twix or Mars and tops it with a chocolate caramel sauce.
For those wondering, Twix McFlurry contains 363 cal whereas the Mars McFlurry is 360cal.
The sweet treats are both priced at £1.39, with McDonald’s offering mini versions for 99p and half the calories.
Dedicated McDonald’s customers will know this isn’t the first time the tasty treats made their mark on the menu.
Twix first appeared on the menu back in February this year, whereas Mars is returning for the first time since 2016.
McDonald’s menu additions join Smarties and Malteasers on the menu, which were made permanent by Maccies bosses last month.
The Smarties McFlurry has 280 calories while a Malteser dessert contains 283.
Other icy flavours include Cadbury Flake Chocolate, Cadbury Flake Raspberry and Oreo McFlurry, as well as offering their delicious whip on a cone.
McDonald’s will also be adding a twist to a much loved favourite, with the creation of spicy chicken nuggets.
