Grabbing a handful of nuts will improve your sex life enormously, scientists claims

Scientists have discovered that swallowing some nuts on a regular basis will have a huge benefit on your sex life.

A Spanish team of researchers analysed a group of love-makers to see what happened when they enjoyed 60 grams of nuts every day.

The results suggested that adding walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds to an ‘unhealthy western diet’ can ‘improve sexual desire and orgasm quality’.

A total of 83 people were involved in the study, all of whom enjoyed a rubbish diet that’s low in fruit and vegetables while being ‘rich in animal fats’.

Some of the participants added nuts to their diet and reported greatly improved erections and ‘sexual function’ in general.

Erectile and sexual dysfunction is thought to affect 2% of men under the age of 40, around 52% of men aged between 40 to 70 and more than 85% of men over 80.

The risk factors associated with sexual and erectile dysfunction are smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, a lack of physical exercise, stress and an unhealthy diet.

Last year, scientists from the same group found that a diet rich in nuts results in a higher sperm count and makes the swimmers more powerful,

‘Researchers tracked the sperm count and quality of a group of healthy young men aged 18-35 over the course of 14 weeks, and found that those who included 60g a day of mixed almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts had a higher sperm count as well as sperm of a higher quality,’ the team wrote.
