WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Women's Soccer Falcons are scheduled to face six squads this season that were either ranked or received votes in the final 2018 NAIA Top 25 Coaches' poll, starting with the season opener at Missouri Baptist University (RV) on Aug. 30 in St. Louis, Mo.
The Falcons will also play at Concordia (RV) on Sept. 4 in Seward, Neb. before opening up the home slate against Culver-Stockton College on Sept. 7.
A home date with USAO (No. 23) looms on Sept. 20, ahead of the KCAC opener on Sept 24 at home vs. Avila University.
The KCAC slate also features road outings at Kansas Wesleyan University (No. 21) on Sept. 28 and Ottawa University (RV) on Oct. 8.
Friends will host Oklahoma Wesleyan University (RV) in the penultimate home match on Oct. 30 before concluding the regular season on Nov. 5 at home vs. Southwestern College.
"We open up two days after practices start with a scrimmage against Butler CC who is always a quality opponent," Friends head coach Brent Hobson said.
"This year we added a road trip to Missouri where we face two teams that we haven't played since I've been here at Friends University. The USAO and Concordia games are two games that will be a good test before our KCAC play begins on 9/24."
