Gareth Bale in line to become world’s first £1m-a-week footballer with staggering China offer
GARETH BALE is considering an offer to become the world’s first £1MILLION-A-WEEK footballer.
Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan tabled the phenomenal TAX-FREE deal after Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane said he wanted the Welshman out as soon as possible.
However, Bale’s furious agent Jonathan Barnett branded Zidane “a disgrace” for forcing his player to leave the Spanish giants.
Zidane refused to play Bale in Real’s 3-1 friendly defeat against Bayern Munich yesterday, instead sending the 30-year-old forward to watch from the stands.
The pair have not spoken for two years and the Frenchman declared: “The club is working on his departure and that’s why he didn’t play.
“We’ll see what happens in the coming days. We’ll have to see if it goes through tomorrow. If it does, then all the better.

“Let’s hope, for everyone’s sake, that it happens soon. The club is dealing with the club that he’ll move to. It’s the best for everyone.”
It prompted a stinging rebuke from Barnett, who stormed: “Zidane is a disgrace to speak like that about someone who has done so much for Real.
“If and when Gareth goes, it will be because it is in the best interest of Gareth and nothing to do with Zidane pushing.”
Bale, who has helped Real to four Champions League titles, trousers around £600,000 a week in Madrid.
