Tottenham Hotspur were somewhat surprisingly linked with a move for the experienced Brazilian right-back Dani Alves earlier this week when journalist Duncan Castles claimed The Transfer Window Podcast that the North London club had made contact over a possible move.
The 36-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
Alves certainly silenced any doubters that his best years may be behind when with his impressive performances for Brazil this summer in their successful Copa America campaign which saw him crowned as the player of the tournament (Marca).
