Tyson Fury invites David Haye to come out of retirement and finally fight him after ending bitter six-year feud

TYSON FURY has joked David Haye could be his next opponent after the pair were reunited at the 02 Arena on Saturday night.

Twice the Millwall fan pulled out of a fight scheduled with the Gypsy King due to injury, with Fury subsequently claiming he will never forgive the Bermondsey man.

But their six-year feud has finally come to an end, with the pair sharing a joke together ringside at Daniel Dubois’ heavyweight clash against Nathan Gorman.

Speaking on BT Sport about who he might face next, Fury said: “Who knows who the opponent might be in October? Maybe David Haye’s gonna make a comeback.

“He’s looking slim, he’s looking in great shape. He’s still good looking, he’s still got it.”

Commenting on their rivalry on iFL TV, Haye asked Fury: “Are you over it now?”

To which Fury replied: “Yes.”

Haye added: “Sometimes things happen in life that you can’t foresee and you’ve got to move on.

“I’ve had my time out because of situations and scenarios that nobody knows about but here we are, it all worked out OK in the end.”

Before he stated: “At one stage he (Fury) was off the rails, he’s back on it and that’s what sports about. It’s about winning, losing, coming back, being out – being in and he’s here, he’s still undefeated.

“He’s 30-years-of-age, he’s at the start of his career in my opinion.”

Fury has revealed that his scheduled rematch against WBC king Deontay Wilder is due to take place on February 22 in 2020.

But he is still chasing a fight for later this year, with it expected he will face another American opponent across the pond.
