Love Island viewers mock ‘cringe’ Curtis as he gets ‘friend zoned’ by Jourdan during ‘awkward’ conversation
LOVE Island viewers mocked Curtis Pritchard this evening as he got “friend zoned” by Jourdan during a toe-curling conversation.
The ballroom dancer pulled the model for a chat and poured out his feelings for her – admitting he would couple up with her right now, but he failed to ask her if she was actually interested.
In cringe-worthy scenes he told her: “You’ve swayed me in a different direction.
“There clearly is something missing me with and Amy else it wouldn’t have happened. If the recoupling was in half an hour, I’d choose you.”
Remaining calm she turned him down, telling him it would be better to remain faithful to Amy before reminding him that she is getting to know Curtis.
She said: “I think what is best in this situation is, I would say to stay loyal to the situation you have now because I need you as a friend.
“I think it would be the better thing to do.”
Those watching at home couldn’t believe what they were watching and took to Twitter to comment on it.
One person wrote: “As if Jourdan just friendzoned the BIGGEST piece of drama this century #loveisland.”
A second added: “Curtis you just got pied.#loveisland”
While a third wrote: “Curtis you’re barking up the wrong tree mate #loveisland.”
Later in the episode, during a frank chat with best pal Tommy, Curtis said: “I’ve been lying in mine and Amy’s relationship without even realising it. There are things wrong in our relationship.
“I haven’t been expressing my feelings properly… But there are things wrong with it.

“I don’t like how sometimes Amy doesn’t do things. I don’t like the fact that Amy is so negative sometimes when she doesn’t need to be because she is talented, she’s smart.
“I don’t like these things. The fact that Jourdan has those things straight away has influenced me and changed my mind.”
During tonight’s episode at least six Islanders will get dumped as the two villas reunite and couple up again in an extended episode.
