As the winner of “Big Brother’s” first-ever Whacktivity competition, Ovi Kabir has earned the power to completely overthrow the reign of a Head of Household, by forcing him or her (in the middle of the night, no less) to redo the nominations ceremony and put two other people on the block. Despite that unprecedented power, a whopping 73% of “Big Brother” fans who voted in our recent poll say that Ovi’s Nightmare Whacktivity isn’t powerful enough. That’s whack!
Sunday’s episode featured a gag-inducing competition in which Ovi correctly identified the pungent odors of bobcat urine, rotted fish and impure durian faster than his four competitors: Cliff Hogg, Isabella Wang, Kathryn Dunn and Nicole Anthony. “I’m about to yell, but I don’t want to let anybody else to know that I just won it,” Ovi declared excitedly in the Diary Room. “I am the happiest man alive because I just won the secret power.”
The 22-year-old college student from Knoxville, Tennessee soon learned in private that he’d won the ability to overthrow a Head of Household’s nominations one time over the next six weeks, which would then force him or her to name two replacement nominees. This truly is a nightmare scenario for the HOH in question, however only 23% of our poll respondents thought that Ovi has been given too much power in the game.

Ovi didn’t feel the need to utilize the Nightmare Whacktivity this week, so Head of Household Christie Murphy‘s two nominees (Cliff and Kathryn) will remain on the block for the time being. One thing Ovi needs to watch out for is Tuesday’s Veto challenge, because if someone pulls Cliff or Kathryn off of the block, Christie’s uber-powerful “Gr8teful” alliance has set their sights on Ovi as a potential backdoor nominee.
The three Whacktivity competitions are a brand new twist for Season 21 of “Big Brother,” with next week being the Chaos challenge for Holly Allen, Tommy Bracco, Jackson Michie, Sam Smith and Jack Matthews, and the third week being the Panic challenge for Analyse Talavera, Nick Maccarone, Kemi Fakunle, Jessica Milagros and Christie Murphy. What do you think of the Whacktivity twist so far?
