JUSTIN BIEBER has incredibly agreed to fight Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise in an unbelievable UFC bout – which may be the biggest clash of all time.
Pop badboy Bieber, 25, recently called out the 56-year-old Mission Impossible actor and demanded they face off in the Octagon, tagging UFC chief Dana White in the message.
Now American website TMZ say Bieber has agreed to the bout and that White wants to make it happen.
They claim that Ari Emanuel, the co-CEO of the William Morris Endeavor agency that owns UFC, had a conference call with Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, and UFC supremo White.
Braun is reported to have made it “clear” that Bieber would “absolutely” fight Cruise – who had a bare knuckle fight scene in 1992 film Far and Away – if the Top Gun icon was up for it too.
And it is further claimed that Emanuel “strongly believes” Cruise, who is in amazing physical shape for his age, would agree to enter the Octagon.
White, 49, has previously spoken about the bout – which would surely eclipse even the astonishing popularity of the 2018 fight between YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul.
The MMA boss said: “So I’m gonna tell you something interesting, obviously, this thing came out – lots of people will talk about fighting somebody in the UFC, things like that.
“Whether it’s NFL players, or celebrities or whatever, it happens a lot. So obviously I saw it like everybody else did and I didn’t pay much attention to it.
“It picked up a lot of steam and was everywhere.
“I’m not gonna say any names but I’m just gonna tell you that I got a phone call from a couple of real guys that said that they really do want to do this fight and they believe that Tom Cruise would do the fight.
“And I told them, ‘Well, I’ll tell you this, if that’s true, if that’s true and everybody involved in this thing really wants to do it, we can talk’.
“Let me tell you what, I’d be an idiot not to make this fight. That would be the easiest fight to ever promote in the history of my career.”
Canadian Bieber, one of the biggest pop stars in the world who is estimated to have sold around 140 million records, started talk of a fight with Cruise in a tweet posted last week.
He wrote to his 106 million followers: “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to a fight in the octagon. Tom if you don’t take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?”
Cruise, who believes in Scientology, a controversial body of religious beliefs and practices, has not responded to the message.
Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor fought and lost in a Las Vegas boxing match to undefeated king Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
That bout was seen as a bizarre crossover spectacle but it sold 4.4 million pay-per-views and generated an estimated £457m.
More than 800,000 people paid $10 (£7.87) to watch KSI and Logan Paul’s showdown in Manchester, with a further 1.2 million viewers streaming it on Twitch, with 21,000 people there in person.
But a fight between the What Do You Mean? singer and Jerry Maguire superstar would potentially dwarf those two previous scraps.
