JOHN TERRY showed off his incredible goalkeeping skills by catching flying ice cream in a crazy Instagram video.
The Chelsea legend, and current Aston Villa assistant coach, was enjoying a well-deserved holiday in Dubai with his missus Toni.
The Terrys soaked up the rays of the scorching Emirati sun weeks after Villa sealed their hard-fought Premier League promotion.
The former England captain, 38, seemingly enjoyed his stay at the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel, relaxing by its plush private swimming pool.
And to cool down, the Chelsea legend headed to a local Cold Stone creamery where he stunned Instagram fans with his unconventional goalkeeping skills.
In a video he posted, a shop assistant scoops ice cream in an incredible manner – by throwing a ball of the sweet treat up in the air.
And she then hurls it across the counter towards Terry before he amazingly tucks it away in an empty bowl.
Chelsea fans were quick to remind how the former centre-back famously played as goalkeeper in a Premier League clash against Reading in 2006.
After Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini were both hauled off the pitch injured, Jose Mourinho decided to push Terry between the sticks.
And, despite wearing the gloves for just a few minutes, he kept a clean sheet and Chelsea won the game 1-0.
Other Blues supporters joked that Terry is a “better keeper” than their former shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois, who signed for Real Madrid last summer.
While, another Chelsea fan suggested the former player is a man of many talents, saying: “Now is it cricket for the future?”
A third added: “This is the coolest thing I’ve seen on the internet by far.”
And a fourth simply wrote: “Once a stopper always a stopper.”
