TENSION brewed in the villa tonight with Yewande threatening to leave and Danny becoming public enemy number one.
We take you through all the details from Love Island episode 18.
As the Islanders relaxed in the garden, Arabella received a text, saying: “Girls. It’s time to hop-it, as you all compete in today’s challenge ‘Gym Bunnies’. #atitlikerabbits #runrabbitrun”
Over two heats, the girls had to complete a course which was made of four stages, in the fastest time possible.
The girls were dressed as Playboy Bunnies, while the boys acted as their very own personal trainers.
For the last stage, the girls had to complete 20 sit-ups whilst giving their boy a bunny kiss each time they sat up.
This part of the challenge proved to be a bit awkward for Yewande and Danny, as their romance has been on the rocks since Arabella’s arrival.

In the Beach Hut, Danny reflected on the challenge and said: “We haven’t fully cleared the air yet so there was a bit of tension there.”
Yewande said: “After the end of the course, I just tried not to look at Danny. It was really awkward.”
Single girls Maura and Arabella also got to choose which boy they wanted to be their personal trainer as part of the challenge.
Maura picked Tom to be her personal trainer and of course Arabella picked Danny.
In the Beach Hut, Amber said: “We all knew that Arabella was going to pick Danny.”
Amy then echoed this with: “Could she not have just chosen Anton?”
The Islanders were particularly impressed with Maura’s skills in today’s challenge and Tom said: “Maura got rid of the juice in record time! I was trying to stay professional but she did look good doing the bunny hops.”
In the Beach Hut, Maura talked about the challenge and said: “I didn’t think I was very competitive but since coming in here, I think I’m a really competitive girl.”
Poor Yewande was left less than impressed after Danny continued to show an interest in Arabella, despite telling her that this head couldn’t be turned.
In the garden, Arabella took the liberty of telling love rival Yewande that her and Danny have an “undeniable connection.”
Yewande decided it was time to speak to both of them about their love triangle.
Yewande confronted Danny about his “undeniable connection” comment.
Danny admitted to this, leaving Yewande feeling like he hadn’t been honest with her: “You never said to me that you had a connection.”
Danny responded: “I just said it was a really good date and that she would get on really well with everyone in the villa.”
This angered Yewande, leaving her to ask: “So, what’s going on?”
Arabella then left the conversation to allow Yewande and Danny to talk one-on-one – and things didn’t go well.
Yewande asked Danny what he wanted and he reiterated that he was keen to get to know both women.
Yewande did not react well to the news that she was officially in competition with Arabella.
The next day, Yewande was still feeling upset and admitted to Anna and Amber that she was contemplating leaving the villa.
The girls gave her a a pep talk and said that this would her stronger.
Elsewhere, the pressure was on for Danny, as Arabella urged him to make a decision.
The model claimed he didn’t want to fall out with Yewande.
However, when Arabella asked “But do you want to patch things up with her romantically?”
Danny said “I don’t know. What are you thinking?”
Arabella told Danny she wanted to pursue things with him and in an “ideal world” he would tell Yewande things are over between them.
Will this be the end of the love triangle?
Apparently not, as later on Yewande decided to take the moral high ground and said she was happy for Danny to “get to know Arabella”.
The plot thickens.
While the rest of the villa remained engrossed in the drama, Tom was keen to take things further with Maura.
He invited the grid girl up to the terrace, where he teased her about her kissing challenge score.
Tom claimed would like to revise his score, with Maura responding “You can’t!”.
Tom then leaned in and said “Well, rate this” before planting a kiss on Maura.
Gushing about the kiss in the Beach Hut she said: “Not a lot of people shock me, but Tom has shocked me. I don’t want to be soppy but it was really good. I enjoyed it. He’s a really good kisser.”
As the winner of ‘Gym Bunnies’ challenge, Maura received the opportunity to spend the night in the Hideaway with a boy of her choice.
After their kiss, she chose Tom who expressed his excitement about spending some time alone with the Irish beauty.
She rushed upstairs to get ready for the Hideaway. However, the blossoming romance headed off course after Maura overheard Tom’s conversation with the boys.
Tom said to the group: “It will be interesting to see if she’s all mouth.”
As you can imagine, Maura was not pleased with his banter AT ALL.
Has the model completely ruined his chances?
