Carrying a firearm while riding
I carry a small automatic (SIG P230) while on long rides late at night here in So. Flo and have run the gamut of typical possibilities from a shoulder rig, to fanny pack and none are even reasonably comfortable. Right now I have it in a small zippered frame pouch but zippers make it generally hard to get access to so I'm looking for a more accessible solution.
Thinking out of the box, I've considered a leg "dump pouch" but they need a nylon waist strap and an armband for a large phone (can't find anything to fit the Sig) and also a chest mounted jury rigged holster that was very comfortable but sweat dripping on the gun made that a destructive proposition.
So does anyone here carry while riding and found a reasonably comfortable easy access solution care to share their thoughts?
This isn't about negative comments on firearm ownership or carry rights, that's covered in federal and state law and not subject to opinion so PLEASE don't make this a political thing?
