Man shot twice during fight in South Shore
Two females were fighting in the street shortly after 8 a.m. in the 7100 block of South Jeffery Boulevard when the 50-year-old man tried to intervene.
A man was shot while trying to break up a fight Friday in South Shore on the South Side.
Two females were fighting in the street shortly after 8 a.m. in the 7100 block of South Jeffery Boulevard when the 50-year-old man tried to intervene, according to Chicago police.
The son of one of the people involved in the fight fired two or three gunshots, hitting the man in the upper right arm and upper back, police said. He was taken to an unknown hospital in an unknown condition.
Three suspects left the area in a vehicle, police said.
Further details were not immediately available. Area Central detectives are investigating.
