I was listening to Gilles Peterson's 6 music show on the way to work this morning and he started with "Babylon" by Dr John, a New Orleans musician who died last week. It's quite heavy going, voodoo psychedelia and mixed oddly so that at times only one stereo channel seems to be in play.
Anyway ... About half way through, there is the lyric "and no more human be-ins will light up Griffin Park". I was so surprised I played it back and heard it again, so I checked the lyric and that is indeed what it is. Seems apt to be played at the last game, but left me wondering if anyone knows anything about the lyric, or if any other songs that mention GP.
Song was recorded in 1968 which did make me wonder if Dr John was a closet QPHa fan.
