The Brescia University Men's Basketball program received committments from Jerrius Borden a 6'8" Forward from Warren Central and Guard DT Babb from Christian County High School, who are the newest Brescia Bearcats. Borden was part of the State Tournament Team from Warren Central High School. Borden is still new to the game just picking it up as an athlete over the past couple of years but has developed into a good rebounder and runs the floor extremely well for his size. "We are excited to add Jerrius he brings great size and length and as he conitnues to develop he will be able to contribute to the program. He has a great attitude and work ethic his best basketball is ahead of him." added Head Coach Brian Skortz.
DT Babb is a defensive specialist, he can guard different positions and like Borden his best basketball is ahead of him. Babb can play multi positions on the floor and can attacks off the dribble well. Babb shot 40% from the field as a senior and received the toughest assignment on defense for Christian County. "DT plays hard. I enjoy his attitude on wanting to guard the best player on the floor. He will bring a defensive mindset that our program needs. He is an unselfish player that wants to see the team succeed. His best basketball is ahead of him and with his work ethic he will grow into a solid contributor in our program. Looking forward in seeing him in the royal blue of Brescia." added Head Coach Brian Skortz.
