Friends book sale
The Friends of the Campbell Library are holding their monthly sale of new and used books—fiction, nonfiction, history, comics, art books, cookbooks, children’s books and collectibles—June 8, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the library, 77 Harrison Ave. Campbell Library, 77 Harrison Ave. For more information, visit campbellfol.org.
Library survey
The Santa Clara County Library District is hosting a customer satisfaction survey asking local patrons what they think about library services and what can be done better. The survey is available online through June 15 at should take 10-15 minutes to complete. Patrons will be entered into a drawing for gift cards upon submitting their surveys.
This a follow-up to a survey the library district did three years ago. The current survey asks patrons about how they use the bookmobile, online library and other services, their preferred timing of specific services or programs and overall satisfaction with the library.

Battle of the Bands
Looking to prove that Santa Clara County’s got talent, the Santa Clara County Library District will host a Battle of the Bands July 27, 2-5 p.m. in the amphitheater of Milpitas Library. Teens ages 13-8 who are in bands of two or more are invited to take part in the competition, part of the library’s 2019 Summer Reading program.
