A TEEN has revealed five kind-hearted strangers cleaned her family home for free, after she asked for cleaning tips on Facebook.
The lass begged for help on the Hinch Army Cleaning Tips page, after revealing cleaning had slipped as a priority when her mum was diagnosed with cancer.
But she was totally overwhelmed when five ladies offered to scrub the house in their spare time.
The British girl shared the incredible before-and-after pictures on Facebook yesterday, revealing what the group accomplished in five hours.
Updating the Facebook group, she said: “I’m sure a lot of you saw my previous post asking for cleaning advice following my mums cancer diagnosis.
“Some incredible people offered to come and hinch my house for free in their own time!
“And today was the day! A team of 5 incredible people showed up at my messy house and has made it the nicest place to be!
“It took a total of 5 hours and some serious sweat and effort but I couldn’t be happier!
“I actually feel emotional at how amazing my house looks after living in such a depressing and cluttered house since mums diagnosis at Christmas!
“I honestly don’t know how to say thank you enough, but I just wanted them all to be recognised for their hard work, it’s honestly incredible! They deserve so much in life.
“Thank you, you gorgeous gorgeous Hinching humans”.
In the original pictures, the girl showed a cluttered home with dirty dishes piled up in the kitchen, a huge mound of laundry left on the ironing board and more mess covering the living room and bathroom.
But now the house is literally sparkling, while the clutter has all been cleared away.
People were extremely touched by the post, which has racked up more than 6,000 likes on Facebook.
Impressed cleaning fans commented: “How lovely are those ladies”, “such a transformation” and “wow amazing – what fantastic people”.
Others said: “Fabulous this will take some pressure of you and make it easier to look after while helping your mum”, “how kind” and “Oh my head hurts this is amazing”.
