Cricket World Cup 2019: Injury scare for Virat Kohli

In a major scare for team India ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 opener against South Africa, Skipper Virat Kohli seemed to have picked up a minor thumb injury during India’s practice session at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.

Just four days before the the opening match,Kohli was clicked with physio Patrick Farhat, who was applying a spray to Kohli’s right thumb, with the skipper in visible discomfort.

Kohli was also seen carrying a glass of ice water with his thumb immersed in it while walking back after the practice session.
