Due to the inherent characteristics of accumulation sequence of unbalanced data, the mining results of this kind of data are often affected by a large number of categories, resulting in the decline of mining performance. To solve the above problems, the performance of data cumulative sequence mining is optimized. The algorithm for mining cumulative sequence of unbalanced data based on probability matrix decomposition is studied. The natural nearest neighbor of... Читать дальше...

In this paper some important qualitative dynamical properties of generalized ribosome flow models are studied. Ribosome flow models known from the literature are generalized by allowing an arbitrary directed network structure between compartments, and by assuming general time-varying rate functions corresponding to the transitions. Persistence of the dynamics is shown using the chemical reaction network (CRN) representation of the system where the state... Читать дальше...

Multiplexed assays of variant effects (MAVEs) have made possible the functional assessment of all possible mutations to genes and regulatory sequences. A core pillar of the approach is generation of variant libraries, but current methods are either difficult to scale or not uniform enough to enable MAVEs at the scale of gene families or beyond. We present an improved method called Scalable and Uniform Nicking (SUNi) mutagenesis that combines... Читать дальше...

The long-standing development pattern dominated by international circulation makes China face the risk of "low-end lock-in" and "being decoupling". In addition, the current global climate change and environmental crisis are becoming increasingly severe, coupled with the COVID-19 impact. Chinese enterprises must actively build a green development system for domestic industries in a mutually reinforcing manner in the context of the domestic general circulation, in order to adapt... Origanum vulgare L., a medicinal and aromatic herb, has been used for hundreds of years. This plant contains valuable chemical compounds that can be used as medicine for treatment. On the other hand, a gradual increase in the planet’s average temperature could negatively affect the growth and the composition of the O. vulgare. For this reason, in this study, the effect of two protective compounds, namely salicylic acid (SA) and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)... Читать дальше...

In this work, we established a density equation for delayed airports to investigate the horizontal propagation mechanism of delays among airports in an airport network. We explored the critical conditions, steady-state features, and scale of the delay propagation, and designed a simulation system to verify the accuracy of the results. The results indicated that, due to the no-table scale-free feature of an airport network, the critical value of delay propagation is extremely small... Читать дальше...

With the move away from fossil fuels, the importance of electric machines is increasing. This is particularly the case within major engineering sectors such as the automotive industry. There is therefore a need to further develop processes which will allow for the diverse range of machining operations and large volume manufacture which will be required to overcome the inherent challenges in making this transition. Several critical components of an electric machine... Читать дальше...

Suicide is among the main challenges that need to be addressed in developed countries. In this paper, we analyse suicides across the 17 Spanish regions over the period 2014–2019. More precisely, our objective is to re-study the determinants of suicides focusing on the latest economic expansion period. We use count panel data models and sex stratification. A range of aggregate socioeconomic regional-level factors have been identified. Our empirical results show that... Читать дальше...

ObjectivesNon-communicable diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for 71% of deaths in 2021. The chronic and pervasive nature of these diseases spurs the need for novel treatment approaches, including using the workplace as a front for the promotion and dissemination of health messages and activities. Taking this into consideration, this study aimed to assess the efficacy of a workplace health promotion program that targeted nutrition... Читать дальше...

Arterial stiffness, measured by arterial stiffness index (ASI), could be considered a main denominator in target organ damage among hypertensive subjects. Currently, no reported ASI normal references have been reported. The index of arterial stiffness is evaluated by calculation of a stiffness index. Predicted ASI can be estimated regardless to age, sex, mean blood pressure, and heart rate, to compose an individual stiffness index [(measured ASI–predicted ASI)/predicted ASI]. Читать дальше...
