Tim Anderson is back, and he brought his broomstick
After yesterday’s thrilling doubleheader, the Chicago White Sox are ready to sweep the Kansas City Royals out of the ballpark.
Reynaldo López will be sent to the mound in order to help accomplish this feat. López is 3-5, and he holds a staggering 6.03 ERA. Luckily for him, he will have James McCann behind the plate for the first time this year. Because McCann has been magical at catching the Sox’s pitchers, ReyLo should be at the top of his game.
In even more exciting news, Tim Anderson is back! Anderson has been sidelined for four straight games, while nursing a sore wrist. However, he did pinch run on Tuesday during the suspended game. Officially in the lineup, I’m sure that he is more than ready to help the South Siders bring the brooms to tonight’s game.
As for the lineup, McCann bats fifth, and Anderson is put into the seventh spot.

The Royals will try to fend off the brooms by sending Glenn Sparkman to the hill. Sparkman is 1-1, and he currently owns a 2.92 ERA. He has not started a game since May 1, so it will most likely be a bullpen day for the royalty. In his last outing against the New York Yankees (May 25), he went three-and-a-third innings; look for more of the same in tonight’s game.
His teammates will line up as follows:

Naperville native, Nicky Lopez, will lead the game off, and last night’s home run hitter, Alex Gordon, appears in the clean up spot.
It’s a 7:10 CT start for the finale of the three-game series. WGN has both the broadcast and the radio.
Let’s let the kids play!
