FURIOUS Maurizio Sarri stormed out of Chelsea training on Tuesday – as David Luiz and Gonzalo Higuain squared up in Baku.
The Blues boss threw his cap to the ground in anger before kicking it for good measure, before racing down the tunnel.
Earlier in Tuesday training session, Higuain had gone in late on Luiz – with the pair going their separate ways, before storming back towards each other to exchange words.
The club claims the two incidents – the player row and Sarri’s tantrum – are unrelated, as BT Sport cameras caught all of the madness.
However, all the tension is likely to do any good ahead of Wednesday night’s monster game.
Chelsea are gunning for a piece of silverware in Sarri’s first season, having been under pressure from the boo-boys almost all season.
They have, fortunately, already secured a spot in next season’s Champions League – unlike opponents Arsenal – who will be going all out to return to Europe’s top table.
Meanwhile, N’Golo Kante trained ahead of Europa League final as Sarri rated him “50/50” to feature in the Europa League final.
The Chelsea boss claimed the Frenchman, 28, made some progress overnight but will still be a game-time call for the big game in Baku.
When asked if Kante would be fit for the final, Sarri replied: “I don’t know.
“He had a little problem on Saturday, a very little problem with his knee. It’s not really a very serious injury.
“The problem is the timing because we had only four days to try to recover him. We are trying.
“At the moment we don’t know. We will try until the last moment. We will try tomorrow, but at the moment we don’t know.
“He is 50/50 at the moment. Yesterday 60/40 for the no, today 50/50. He was a little bit better this morning.
“But we are in trouble in midfield. At the moment we have only three midfielders for three positions.
“N’Golo is really important for us. He is the only defensive midfielder we have. Without N’Golo it’s a problem for us.”
