‘Bully teacher “joked” about making girl, 15, “sacrifice” to school shooter’
A calculus teacher tormented a 15 year-old girl and joked about offering her as a ‘sacrifice’ if a shooter ever targeted their school, it was claimed.
Siyona Shah was left in tears after the unnamed teacher at Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina, messed-up her fastidiously neat desk to frazzle her, she says.
That teacher, who hasn’t been named, also allegedly mocked the way the straight-A student speaks.
Recalling the school shooting remark, she told ABC11: ‘He made a comment about school shootings that got to me.
‘That we should have Siyona go out and let her be the sacrifice.
‘Maybe he was joking. But I didn’t look at it as a joke. That’s not something you joke about.’
Shah continued: ‘He said my voice makes him think of “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” height, probably race. I don’t know.’

She told her father Sanju about the alleged bullying in February, prompting him to cut short a business trip home from India.
Shah was able to transfer into another class, with her family also meeting with school officials to discuss what they insisted was a case of a teacher bullying a student.
She and her family now say the school principal was not given a copy of the Wake County Public School System’s employee handbook, which advises school bosses on how to deal with such abuse.
The school failed to provide the Shah family with a follow-up within the promised 15 days.
Father and daughter say they don’t want the teacher to be fired, but that they expect the school to hold him accountable for his behavior.
After being contacted by ABC11, school officials refused to comment on the case, but vowed to have resolved the matter by June 7.
