Richie Incognito is coming back to the NFL for the 2019 season. NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport reported Tuesday morning that the Oakland Raiders are signing Incognito to a one-year deal, and he’ll return to the league after a one-season hiatus.
The offensive lineman asked the Bills to release him last spring following a days-long retirement stint. He then ran into legal troubles twice over the next few months, with both incidents involving violent and erratic behavior by Incognito.
He’s joining the Raiders as their primary option at left guard in what will be his 12th active season in the NFL.
