Newcastle fans are excited amid discussions over a possible takeover of the club by Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan this summer.

According to UK Sun report, the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Sergio Ramos have all been hilariously linked with a possible switch to St James' Park.

And the Dubai-based billionaire's camp has reportedly affirmed that the £350m deal to buy Newcastle has been "concluded".

Interestingly, if Sheikh Khaled splashes the cash like his cousin Sheikh Mansour - the Man City owner - football's biggest stars will be heading to St James' Park, with Juan Mata - who Benitez is keen to reunite with on Tyneside - is not among the top name on the list.

According to the latest report on UK Sun, the 54-year-old British billionaire has agreed to sell the club to Dubai-based billionaire Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan. Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan is the cousin of Manchester City's owner Sheikh Mansour and he is said to have had interest in buying the club for the past two years.

Last year, he was also said to be interested in buying Premier League giants Liverpool, but the deal failed to work.
