My girlfriend ended it ‘as there was no spark’ but we meet up for chats and I want her back
DEAR DEIDRE: MY girlfriend finished with me three months ago because she said there was no spark.
We were together for 18 months and I’d go back to her in a heartbeat. I am 23, she is 24 and has messaged me several times since the split, saying she misses me.
We meet up for coffee and chats and she has arranged a couple of weekend breaks for us both, like we used to do.
Recently she has sent many more messages with several kisses at the end. I still love her but I am afraid to say anything in case it kills our closeness.
I would rather have her friendship than nothing at all.
