Nigerian man gives useful tips on how to retrieve one's stolen money from internet fraudsters
Following the high rise of internet fraud in the country, a Nigerian man has taken it upon himself to equip members of the public with tips on how to retrieve stolen money.
The man identified as @monye _morris shared his piece of mind on popular micro-blogging platform, in a series of tweets in which he detailed steps to follow, should one fall a victim of cyber crime.
According to him, when such issues occur, individuals should take it upon themselves to forward a complaint to their respective banks as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has mandated all financial institutions to set up a fraud desk to handle such cases.
He added that when such complaints have been made, the bank would still be able to reverse such transactions even though the thieve has withdrawn money from the account.

"You can get your money back from online fraudsters (If you can follow through). CBN has now mandated all banks to open a fraud desk to handle cases. The bank will investigate, prosecute and reverse such dubious transactions even though the scammer has withdrawn the money." he said.
