Jurgen Klopp’s side have also put in some remarkable performances in the Champions League, including the recent 4-0 drubbing of Barcelona in the second leg of the semi final.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said that Liverpool were unlucky not to end up being Premier League champions and that the losing the title would make them hungrier for the Champions League finals.

We believe that Liverpool’s title loss certainly works to Tottenham’s advantage, as the Reds are now under a lot of pressure as they face the prospect of ending a brilliant campaign completely trophy-less.

If Tottenham start well in Madrid, the Reds might get nervous as the game goes on and make mistakes.
