Nigel Farage claims Theresa May has BANNED him from meeting pal Donald Trump
NIGEL Farage was BANNED from meeting Donald Trump by panicking Tory bosses, the Brexiteer claimed today.
The Brexit Party boss wants to be used as a go-between with his pal the President when Mr Trump visits Britain next month.
But he hit out at Theresa May for allegedly saying the pair should not be allowed to meet.
Mr Farage told LBC: “The last time he came to the UK, one of the Government’s red lines was that he wasn’t to meet me.
“I know not only him very well but also members of his administration.
“You would have though if the British Government was acting in the national interest, they would have tried to use me constructively.
“But of course Theresa May doesn’t care about the national interest, she only cares about the Conservative party’s interest.”
He also claimed he had offered to be an envoy to European businesses, reassuring them they can still trade with Britain after Brexit.
Mr Farage said he had been dragged out of “semi-retirement” by the failure of Parliament to takes us out of the EU.
And he refused to explain any Brexit Party policies apart from quitting the EU with No Deal.
The Brexiteer blasted Mrs May but also suggested Boris Johnson and Dominic Raab might be just as bad.

Yesterday Mr Farage clashed with the BBC’s Andrew Marr in a fiery interview.
He accused the Beeb of being “in denial” about the rise of the Brexit Party ahead of next week’s Euro elections.
Today he added: “It is perfectly clear that the BBC have had no interest in covering this election fairly.”
