Hunt for gunman ‘filmed shooting boy, 15, and man with silenced pistol’
A hunt has been launched for a gunman after a man and teenage boy were shot on a residential street.
The pair, aged 35 and 15, came under fire on Warwick Road, Oldton, Solihull at around 4.30pm yesterday.
Although both suffered injuries, they were not thought to be life threatening.
Photos from the scene show police vehicles and a cordon stretching in front of homes in the residential area.
They remained at the scene for several hours following the incident.
Detectives are attempting to trace a light-coloured vehicle which police said the offender used to flee the scene.
An eyewitness, who asked not to be named, said: ‘At one point two police vans were positioned in the road and the A41 Warwick Road was closed entirely.

A number of vehicles along the street can be seen in the pictures caught up behind the police cordon.
Footage obtained by MailOnline, shows the suspect fleeing the scene.
A statement from West Midlands Police this morning said: ‘Police are investigating after a man, aged 35, and a 15-year-old boy were shot at on Warwick Road in Olton, Solihull, around 4.30pm yesterday.
‘The attack is thought to be deliberately targeted and both victims were taken to hospital for treatment to leg injuries, which are described as not life threatening or life changing.
‘The offender made off in a vehicle and police are calling for witnesses to contact them via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log number 1702 of 11/5.’
