Sterling and Man City fans celebrate another title win with hilarious memes as Twitter goes wild for the champions
RAHEEM STERLING joined in with the fun as Manchester City fans bombarded Twitter with hilarious memes after they won the title.
Pep Guardiola’s men secured the silverware for the second year running after a 4-1 win over Brighton.
Sterling, 24, posted a hilarious snap to his 1.79m followers before he lifted the trophy with his team-mates.
The England ace posted a picture of City winning the title last season with an inset of the most iconic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas meme.
It showed main character Carl “CJ” Johnson wearing Sterling’s jersey and it read: “Ah s***, here we go again” – a famous quote from the start of the iconic video game.
But Sterling was not the only one to troll all of the other Premier League clubs – and in particular Liverpool – with a meme.
One fan posted a picture of Pep Guardiola lifting the trophy like Rafiki holding up Simba in the Lion King with Jurgen Klopp behind him.
Liverpool looked on track to snatch the silverware after Glenn Murray gave Brighton the lead in the 27th minute.
But Sergio Aguero, Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan scored to shatter their dreams.

And fans on Twitter decided to troll Klopp’s suffering side after City finished the season just one point clear of them.
One posted a famous quote from Bill Shankly which read: “If you are first, you are first. If you are second, you are nothing.”
While another social media user posted a clip of a man covering his ears with the caption: “Liverpool fans’ reaction to Man City winning the league.”
