Arsenal finished their 2018/19 season on a high note after defeating Burnley 3-1 in their last Premier League match played at Turf Moor on Sunday, May 12.
The comfortable victory successfully sealed a fifth-place finish for the Gunners who have had a woeful run in the domestic league.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued with his goal-scoring heroics after bagging an incredible brace during the match to gift Arsenal a vital win.
The Gabonese forward opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, slotting home after a bad mistake from Ben Mee.
Aubameyang doubled the lead in the 64th minute with a terrific back-post volley to take his season tally to 31 goals in all competitions for the Emirates outfit.
Burnley however pulled one back through Ashley Barnes a minute later, with Bernd Leno unable to keep out the 29-year-old's header.
Eddie Nketiah made it 3-1 for Arsenal at stoppage time, his first Premier League goal for the Gunners.
The Unai Emery-tutored side will now be seeking to lift the Europa League title for a chance to qualify for Champions League next season when they battle Chelsea during the finals.
