At the AT&T Byron Nelson, fans come to watch golf. After being here all week, we now know that businesses are part of this occasion too.
Salesmanship Club member Ken Malcolmson introduced us to this at the Axxess Healthcare hospitality suite. There, we met and interviewed Stacie Adams, VP of Corporate Citizenship. She told us that it takes months to make the guest list and organize the suite. Adams works with philanthropists (people who raise money for the benefit of the community), business partners, and community leaders. She tries to bring together different kinds of people, not just bosses, if you get what we mean. She enjoys her job very much. It’s not just “party planning.” Axxess Healthcare raises money for community needs, such as for college scholarships.
