Terror inquest hears London Bridge attack victim’s poignant plea for lover to make up with his dad
A TERROR victim urged her fiancé to tell his dad he loved him in case he was hit by a bus — hours before she was run down and killed by a van.
Chrissy Archibald, 30, told Tyler Ferguson to contact his father during a meal on the night she died in the London Bridge atrocity.
Tyler revealed: “During an intense conversation she told me I had to tell my dad I loved him.
“She told me he could be hit by a bus tomorrow and I would never get the chance to tell him.”
The poignant details of the Canadian couple’s last hours together came at the inquest into the deaths of the eight people killed by fanatics in June 2017.
As the couple walked across the bridge after their meal, social worker Chrissy stopped, grabbed her boyfriend, gave him a passionate kiss and told him how much she loved him.
But Tyler said he saw a man running down the road screaming and heard the squeal of the tyres of the terrorists’ white van.
He said: “Before I knew it the van was right on top of us. I looked for Chrissy, she was no longer next to me.
“I could see Chrissy’s arms and legs under the van. She was being pushed and pushed.”

Tyler tried to give her the kiss of life. He added: “It was like a war zone. I knew at this moment she was dead but I couldn’t give up on her.”
Firearms officer PC Andrew Duggan, who arrived to the sound of police gunfire, told the inquest: “It felt like London was under attack.”
Ghoul hid on bus as he was filmed
A GHOUL was called out as he tried to film the carnage on London Bridge.
The man was cowering on a bus which stopped close to where Chrissy Archibald, 30, was killed as she strolled with her fiancé Tyler Ferguson.
Bus driver Anton Sobanski told the inquest: “There was a man upstairs at the back and he was trying to film Chrissy and someone — I believe it was Tyler — telling him ‘stop filming’.”
Mr Sobanski said he had feared London Bridge was vulnerable to a terror attack because there were no barriers. He said: “I always felt that maybe a vehicle could be used to kill 100, 200, people.”
