Mexican authorities rescue two migrants who were hidden INSIDE the front seats of an abandoned car near the Mexico-United States border on Tuesday afternoon.
Street vendors alerted cops to screams that came from a vehicle that was left unattended on a road on the Mexican side of the San Ysidro border crossing.
Footage showed police officers cutting and tearing open the car seats to free the Mexican nationals - who were identified only as Modesta, 22, and Macario, 20.
The pair were reportedly attempting to illegally cross the border into the United States before human traffickers abandoned the car in the border city of Tijuana.
Cops confiscated a gray Lincoln Town Car, which had license plates from California, for further investigation
