In a recent interview, Indian cricket team bowler Kuldeep Yadav revealed which members of the 'Men in Blue' squad are the best PUB G players.
Indian cricket team spinner Kuldeep Yadav in a recent interview has made an interesting revelation about the ‘Men in Blue’ squad. Speaking to ESPN Cricinfo, he revealed that some members of the team also play the popular mobile action game ‘PUBG’. Yadav said in the rapid-fire interaction that the likes of MS Dhoni, Manish Pandey, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kedar Jadhav are the top players of PUBG in the squad.
‘PUB G’, the action-category based multiplayer game is very popular among gamers across the world. The game has taken the mobile gaming space by storm and several have also been reportedly addicted to it. Last year, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a question from a mother whose son fell prey to its addiction, starting with the line, “Ye PUBG waala hai kya” which went viral on the internet.
Earlier, a few images had emerged of several Indian cricket team players playing the game on their mobile and tablets on their travel to Australia ahead of the full-fledged series which took place in November 2018. The cricketers were spotted playing the online action game to pass time in airports and bus rides.
Meanwhile, some of the Indian cricket team members who are a part of the World Cup-bound squad taking place in England and Wales are still playing in the last four stages of the ongoing Indian Premier League. While players like Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Shikhar Dhawan continue to play Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s team faced elimination after Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) lowly campaign and he will get some much-needed rest ahead of the World Cup campaign.
Interestingly, there was no mention of Kohli in Yadav’s ‘PUB G’ revelations. It seems the batsman has little interest in mobile gaming but is more of a Play Station gamer, where he plays his favourite game, FIFA.
