Priyanka Chopra is currently in the US for her professional commitment in the west. But, she will soon be back home to shoot a special fun number for Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink.
Actor Priyanka Chopra might be away from Hindi movies in India but she’s soon coming back with The Sky Is Pink in October this year. After wrapping up the film’s shoot in March earlier, she’s finally returning to India. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Priyanka is coming back home in June to shoot a special song for the film. The daily suggests that PC has been busy with her professional commitments in the West these days. However, she’ll soon be seen in India to shoot a song which holds importance in the film’s narrative. The shoot will take place on June 6 with the entire cast present at a popular film studio in Mumbai. It is also reported that the song will be placed in the middle of the film and it’s a fun number.
A source close to the film’s development told the daily, “Composed by Pritam and written by Gulzar, it will be shot in a five-day schedule beginning June 6. Shonali, who is in the middle of post-production, has been working on the song for a few weeks now.”
The Sky Is Pink is based on Indian motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who suffered pulmonary fibrosis and passed away at the age of 19, just a day after the release of her book titled My Little Epiphanies. The film features Priyanka Chopra in the role of her mother and Farhan Akhtar essaying the role of her father. Zaira Wasim plays the pivotal role as Aisha Chaudhary in the Shonali Bose-directorial.
Priyanka, meanwhile, was recently in India to cast her vote in the ongoing Loksabha elections 2019. The actor also launched the new venture of her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, in Mumbai and then headed straight to New York to attend Billboard Music Awards 2019 with her husband Nick Jonas. PC also attended the surprise wedding of her brother-in-law Joe Jonas with Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner in Los Angeles.
