KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Number five seeded Point University (30-21) ripped 12 hits and took advantage of two critical errors in a 10-0 shutout victory in seven innings agaisnt number four seeded Reinhardt University (27-23) in a first-round game in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament, Wed., May 1. Point plays again in the winner's bracket on Thursday, May 2 at 7 p.m., against the winner of Wednesday night's game between number eight seeded Bluefield College (23-23) and number one seeded Tennessee Wesleyan (44-8), the number two team in the NAIA National Top 25.
