Miranda Almeida of Soka University of America and Josh Jubile of La Sierra have been selected as the recipients of the Dr. Jim Davies Award as the 2018-19 Scholar Athletes of the Year in the California Pacific Conference. The annual honor, voted on by the conference athletic directors, is awarded to the student-athletes who best embody the Champions of Character in competition, in the classroom, and in the community. Almeida and Jubile were selected from an outstanding field of qualified and committed student-athletes from all the Cal Pac institutions.
