Any average Championship manager would have done what Monk has done with Blues.
People are looking at our disasterous form under Zola, Redknapp and Cotterill and think that reflected the ability of the squad.
Which made people think that if anybody could come in and drag those player up to mid table, they must have done an 'amazing job'.
We have to stop acting surprised that we keep avoiding relegation.
The truth is that our fans are really biased towards Monk because he's one of the most likeable managers we've ever had.
Therefore we're going to be a lot more tolerate of his howlers than say, Zola or Cotterill..
So.....Garry Monk, with a smaller and less talented squad has done better than the three previous managers but 'any average competent Championship manager could do what he's done'....
Please define 'average competent'....
