Shehu Sani advises workers on how to deal with govs who refuse 30k minimum wage
Senator Shehu Sani on Wednesday, May 1, advised workers on how to deal with employers who refuse to pay the N30,000 minimum wage.
The Senator said any governor, industrialist or CEO who deliberately refuse to page the wage should be restricted from travelling by air.

He asked the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and aviation workers to devise ways to put 'no fly' sanctions on the them when they shove the new minimum wage aside.
Senator Sani said this during on his twitter page while also applauding the efforts of the Nigerian workers.
He tweeted:
Recall that Legit.ng earlier reported that the Jigawa state government decalared its readiness to implement the N30,000 new minimum wage.
The declaration was made by the deputy governor of the state, Ibrahim Hassan Hadeija, while taking questions from members of the press on Monday, April 29, Daily Trust reports.
It was also reported that Hadeija said provision for the increment in workers’ salaries had been made in the 2019 budget, by the state government.

Legit.ng also gathered that the Oyo state government met with representatives of labour unions on the implementation of the N30,000 new minimum wage in the state.
The meeting, which held at the state secretariat in Ibadan, had in attendance representatives of the state government, Joint Negotiation Council (JNC), Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).
