Horrified takeaway customer finds entire CHICKEN HEAD in Indian meal
AN INDIAN takeaway has been accused by a horrified customer of serving up an entire chicken’s head in her meal.
Nicole Rae posted pictures which appear to show the open beak and head of a chicken which has been coated in spices and cooked.
Nicole, from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, claimed she bought the takeaway from Tandoori Mahal in the suburb of Cambusnethan.
She wrote on social media: “Just a warning – if you’re ordering from Tandoori Mahal in Cambi, you might get a chicken’s head.”
Furious customer Nicole posted three pictures from different angles appearing to show a chicken’s head coated in chicken pakora batter.
WHAT THE CLUCK?
The first image appears to resemble a clear beak and eyes resting inside the box.
Another photo shows the other side where an eye socket can be made out and a ‘tongue’ can be seen.
A zoomed in version of the picture shows inside the mouth of the chicken and down its throat, with the tip of the beak burnt.
One user responded: “Oh my god, I’d be right on the phone to trading standards. Would put you off for life.”
Tagging friends, another commented: “Omg never eating this again.”
One said: “I feel sick.”
A fourth commented: “OMG no wonder I’m a vegetarian.”
‘I FEEL SICK’
One person, Jim Shade, hit back after claiming he knows the people who own the restaurant, adding that “they’re clean”.
He said: “Never happened. I know the guys are very clean, they check every single item. I don’t work there, I just know the guys are very clean.”
The restaurant appears to have mixed reviews online with three users rating Tandoori Mahal with five stars and three users rating it one star.

Average reviews on Google are positive at 4.1 stars out of five – based on 79 reviews.
