Anurag Basu‘s next untitled film, an action comedy anthology, is all set to hit theatres on January 24, 2020.
The film is said to be a multi-starrer film starring, Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkumar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
Film and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his Twitter and captioned it, “Anurag Basu’s next film to release on 24 Jan 2020… Stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi… Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Anurag Basu, Tani Somarita Basu and Krishan Kumar”.

Earlier, Aditya Roy Kapur, who was recently seen in Kalank, shared a picture on Instagram with Anurag and Sanya. In the picture, Aditya and Sanya can be seen smiling for the camera while Anurag decides to get a little goofy and photobombs. Sharing the picture, he captioned it, “A new journey begins ”.
The film will reportedly be a sequel of Anurag’s 2007 film Life in a… Metro. Reports also suggest that the film will clash with Kangana Ranaut’s Panga which is being directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
The untitled project is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu with his wife Tani Somarita Basu.
