On Saturday we played Malahide in our division playoff final and while the result didn’t go our way on the day the club has nothing but admiration for this fine bunch of young men who have represented our club this season with over 25 matches played, the future is bright with some exciting young talent and more coming through our underage. We would like to thank each and everyone of them who put huge effort and commitment over the season. We would like to thank management Noel Eoin and Tony our physio Craig Darragh strength and conditioning and the rest of the backroom staff who supported the lads, Eamonn Cooke for his video work, Johnny Cleary as club capt Sean Hartigan vice. We also have to acknowledge the ladies in our club who keep on feeding the masses on Saturdays and to Mary Paul and Kate who keep the crowds refreshed all season, Bernard and his crew who look after the shop and to our photographers and to all our club sponsors we say thanks finally to our fantastic support who turned out in big numbers all season and I’m sure the lads gained a few more with some great rugby all season. We also wish a speedy recovery to all our players who received injuries we wish them speedy recoveries Forgive me if I have omitted anyone I’m new to this job, as the lads can now earn a well deserved rest off season they deserve it.
