I was always open with my husband that I’m going to need egg donation because I have a condition that affects fertility.

I managed to lose 2st but I’ve put it all on again.

My consultant said I need to lose a stone before our next appointment in three months.

I’m 35 and my husband is 38. I’ve lost a couple of pounds but that’s all.

I get bored and I eat. It’s frustrating.

DEIDRE SAYS: It must feel hard but you need to give yourself the best chance of conceiving.

Your struggle is to be able to resist the short-term pleasure of the food you crave for the long-term goal of starting a family.

Substitute fun exercise for sitting, rule out sugar, never eat in front of the TV, only eat food you’ve bought fresh.
