The Blues are looking to try and keep alive their hopes of finishing in the top four this season, with Maurizio Sarri’s men currently in fifth in the table heading into this weekend’s round of fixtures.
Chelsea FC booked their place in the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday night thanks to a 4-3 win over Slavia Prague at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat by Liverpool FC at Anfield last weekend to dent their hopes of finishing in the top four.
The Blues are level on points with fourth-placed Arsenal but have played a game more than the north Londoners.
Nevertheless, former Liverpool FC star Lawrenson is tipping Chelsea FC to claim all three points and keep their top-four bid on track by beating Burnley on Monday.
Writing in his column for BBC Sport, Lawrenson said: “Chelsea are fighting for a top-four place and with Eden Hazard on form they have got a chance.
“Burnley have got 39 points and they are safe, or as good as safe anyway so they do not have much to play for.
“They won at Stamford Bridge on the opening day of last season, but I can’t see a repeat of that result this time.”
Chelsea FC are aiming to break back into the top four this season after they finished fifth and won the FA Cup last term under Antonio Conte.
The west London side will take on Frankfurt in the Europa League semi-finals, starting next month.
