Rodón looks for second quality start in a row
The White Sox look to snap a two-game losing streak tonight in Detroit.
Carlos Rodón will take the bump tonight for us. Rodón looks to carry off his last quality start in NYC, where he pitched six innings allowing just two runs. Hopefully Rodón will be able to corral his command tonight and give us a much-needed strong outing.
Jordan Zimmermann will throw for the Tigers. Zimmermann’s last win came against the White Sox on Sept. 5, 2018. His ERA for this year is at 4.29, but in his last eight starts dating back to last year he is at a 5.75.
Tim Anderson has been suspended for one game, along with Ricky Renteria. Here is what Anderson said to Brad Keller.
During the benches-clearing incident, White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson called Royals pitcher Brad Keller a "weak-ass f---ing n-word," sources tell ESPN. Anderson, who was hit by a Keller pitch one at-bat after he hit a home run and flipped his bat, was suspended for one game.

Brad Keller is suspended five games, but will only miss one start. Seems rather unfair, but that’s the MLB for you. I stand by Tim Anderson, as I am sure many of you do as well. I am rather upset with Anderson’s suspension as many of you could tell by my tweets today. Hoping the boys can win this game for Timmy.
We will be missing Tim Anderson and his hot bat in tonight’s game. Also James McCann gets the nod behind home plate in his first start returning to Comerica Park since coming over to the White Sox.
