Elderly woman beats massive half-nude attacker with baseball bat
A 65-year-old woman armed with a metal baseball bat defended herself from a half-nude attacker who was double her size.
Clarese Gainy was in her Gainesville, Florida apartment Sunday morning when she looked out her window and saw Antonio Mosely trying to break into her car.
Instead of waiting for police to arrive, Gainy, a former softball player, grabbed a baseball bat and confronted Mosely, 37, who is 300-pounds and was only wearing his underwear.
‘I grab my bat, I brace myself, and I ease the door open,’ Gainy told CBS 4.
Police say Mosely noticed the elderly former athlete and charged her – but Gainy was ready.

‘He better be glad I didn’t have a gun because I would have shot him. But this (baseball bat) is my gun right here.’
After Gainy hit Mosely, he ran off into a nearby mobile home, leaving behind his pants, shirt, and one sock.
Police arrived on the scene with dogs and tracked Mosely to a mobile home.

Officers brought him to Gainy to have her identify him. She said she easily knew it was him, not only by his appearance, but by the head injury she gave him.
He was taken to the Alachua County Jail and was charged with burglary and drug possession.
